The PulseGen board is mated to an MSP430 Launchpad® board from Texas Instruments™. The Launchpad provides two functions, USB interface, and program control. PulseGen includes a graphical user interface which runs on Windows® and the Launchpad® board provides a USB interface between Windows® and the PulseGen board. Real-time control signals on the PulseGen board are generated by a PLD and the Launchpad® provides the programming interface to the PLD.
